Who Is Warren King?

Who is Warren King? He is an 83 year old photography teacher who, two years ago, gave me his blessing to write his biography. Imagine my excitement, then imagine my paralysis - I write fiction, satire, stories - I did not have a clue. I was already wrestling with it when I got into a car accident that nearly killed me, and I have reams of material on Warren King of Reseda High School, but now that I am able to sit up for short periods of time and can write again, I am still horrified that I do not seem to be able to wrestle this genre into submission.
Warren is new to this territory, also. He is used to the art form of photography, where the results show up a little faster than writing, and he is wondering why the book is not finished!

And there are so many more. Gil Garcetti, as most of you know, was the D.A. in Los Angeles, and he was one of the students in Warren's Adult Photography class. He was overheard saying how nice it was that people finally stopped asking him about the O.J. trial and started asking him about his photography books.We are just getting started. Warren did not just turn out stars, he boosted many high school kids who were lost, lonely, did not fit in - he is a teacher and humanitarian in every sense, and that is why, when I stumbled upon his page on the Internet, I felt he should be easier to find, possibly even a name people would recognize.
I forgot about the fact that I was clueless on how to write a biography. But I have not given up yet!

Mother Nature Is Running The Show Right Now

Unless you live under a rock, you are aware that Southern California is on fire.
Warren King and his wife Dottie live in Santa Clarita. We are playing e-mail tag right now, but as of three days ago, he was fine, but his granddaughter had to be evacuated from Stevenson Ranch. This is so nerve-wracking, and I have not been able to write back to him due to my physical snails' pace and too much running around. He did say his phone was ringing off the hook, and wrote a hysterical/horrifying story about traveling to Colorado and in animal baggage claim, a dog mix-up. I will print the whole story as soon as I can, but I have to say, what he went through would have killed me. Warren King is not only a local legend, but LORD he is tough. It is kind of embarrassing when a 45 year old wants the strength of an 83 year old who has a walking issue.
